Our church is located on the outskirts of Amherst Virginia at the base of the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains, Bethel is a Christ centered, family oriented, Independent Baptist Church. We have programs and opportunities for all Bethel Baptist Church members in which to participate. At Bethel you will find the place where the Lord can truly use you for His glory. We urge and encourage all of our members to get involved in your church's ministries. When you are involved in the ministries at the church you will be amazed at how the Lord will bless that work, bless you and your testimony. |

Senior Supper Planned!
There will be a supper scheduled to honor ALL of our seniors (ages 50+) on Saturday, August 15th beginning at 4:30 in the afternoon. The event is being hosted by the BBC Ladies Fellowship. Please sign up on the attendance form posted on the bulletin board located in the vestibule. The activities will take place in the gymnasium. You may contact Linda Burks if more information is needed.

Ladies Fellowship Planning Meeting!
The Ladies Fellowship will be holding their annual planning meeting in the gymnasium on September 5th beginning at 5pm. Everyone attending is asked to bring a covered dish. Please contact Linda Burks for additional information. |

The Envoys Returning!
The gospel group known as "The Envoys" will be returning to Bethel Baptist Church and providing a concert on Sunday evening, August 23rd beginning at 6pm. The Envoys last visited Bethel about three years ago, please put this date on your calendar and be sure to attend. It no doubt will be a blessing for all. |
